the reason we came to Bangkok. Today was my first visit. On the mainland my dentist estimated my dental work to be $19,000. I will be less than $9,000 in Bangkok and getting some additional work. Today I went in for my initial consultation. I have two broken teeth, one of them held my original bridge from a dune buggy accident 43 years ago. On the mainland they wanted to pull that broken tooth and do 5 implants. After the consultation, they will need to pull the one tooth, and replace with 1 implant. They will put two implants in in the front of the mouth and a bridge between them. I also had a second tooth break, and they found a tooth that will need a root canal and cap. So after the initial consultation, they prepped and filled the bottom tooth and have a temporary cap on until Thursday. next they put in the 2 posts, and a bone graft for the top front of my mouth. Thursday they will pull the bad tooth. Do the root canal and two caps. after my jaw bone heals they well put in a post and tooth where they pulled and a permanent bridge at the front of my mouth. Total cost for today’s work, $5,670.
All of the Doctors and staff were pleasant. The doctors were very thorough and explained my options. It has been an excellent experience so far.
