Road Trip Starts – Heading to Spokane
After a great visit with Jenny and with her support (loaning me the motor home). I started my land travels. It was time to visit a sister in Spokane. I figured I would swing by Olympia, stop at Trader Joe’s and stock up on great stuff. From Olympia I headed on up to Everett. I spent the night at the Tulalip Casino, met a friend for dinner. In the morning I had breakfast with my nephew and then headed to Leavenworth (the pups saw snow for the first time, They were not big fans). I thought I’d see the town and then on towards Spokane. I went a little bit ought of the way to see the Grand Coulee Dam and camped a couple of nights on the way to Spokane.
I stopped by twin lakes in Marysville, When we lived up here I would take the dogs and kids for walks. It has built up a little but is still peaceful.
At the top of the pass, it was still l a bit chilly. the pups were annoyed that I stopped and showed them enow LOL.
The view from my camp sport, I pulled off the road out in the middle of nowhere. a quiet spot with just the hills, grass and wild animals to see.
I made it to the dam,, next stop is to find a place for the night.
Found a nice quiet campground on the lake, walked rested and enjoyed. Next stop, SPOKANE!
Very nice….the adventure has begun. Looking forward to the calendar
